I am a Sererian, and I enjoy socializing with people of all aspects of life. I like football, athletics, spiritual aspects of life and education as it drives me to a better tomorrow.
Importance of this project:

The project keeps the environment and society looking good as we green it with nice flowers and pasture

The project helps us turn waste into good materials (ie. wastes into manure/fertilizers) that perfect life of our crops and pastures, thus avoiding littering of the environment with waste.

This project takes me beyond my standards of learning and thus develops me mentally on how to handle the environment.

ANYIPO PEACE GRACE

I have an interest in being a doctor simply because I feel I should help save lives since many people are toiling in hospitals with different sicknesses. I have an interest to serve people rather than gain money for myself.
All of us should value and have concern of our lives and other peoples' lives because they are created in God's likeness. Let's act as problem solvers in any way we can rather than being problem causes.
Importance of this project:

Increased my thinking capacity to utilize whatever I have to solve a problem.

I believe as we continue we will gain more valuable knowledge for future survival before we get jobs to earn a living. It is a great project that puts science into practice to solve everyday life problems.

Learn how to turn different materials like urine (waste), bones, banana peelings and animal refuse into different fertilizers like liquid fertilizer, bone meal, and so on.

Career goal: Surgeon
I am interested to do medicine and surgery, reason being I want to lower the cost of treatment to our people in Africa if I become a doctor. I would also like, if not being a doctor, to be a high school teacher, teaching biology and chemistry.
Importance of the project:

We are learning how to solve different problems like soil infertility because we know how to make fertilizers that we can apply in our soil.

Importance of this project:

It is a kind of source of employment and can improve on the agricultural method that is combating infertile soil and improving on the nutrient for plant growth.

I am a student in S.5 science. When I am free, I like playing football. I play number 9 and 10 in the field. I study in Serere district but am located in Amuria district, a district within Teso Region.
I am a student of Serere Township SS in Serere district in Uganda. According to the subjects I do is Biology, Chemistry, and Maths forming a combination of BCM/ICT taking a course of being a doctor because life is nothing without health and also would like to be a teacher if money of becoming a doctor is not adequate.
Importance of this project:

Learn how to improve soil fertility

To get a difference of applying a fertilizer and not applying fertilizers on crops

I can get money very fast when I go home by selling my yields like peas.

Career goal: Lawyer
I want to become a lawyer because we are all leaders of this country, and I feel after my education, I will be in position to fight for freedom for the less privileged like poor, widows, orphans, who the few rich people tend to take advantage. Let’s join hands and fight against corruption.

With the few skills we have learned, we are in position to make our own fertilizers and since agriculture is the backbone of Uganda, we shall use them for improving agriculture in our communities and Uganda as a whole.
